Prophetess by Tam DeRudder Jackson

Prophetess is the third in a series of books about couples in Scotland. The basic premise is amazing. Shanley was raised to look for her warrior, but she thought she never found him.  Alaisdair went into hiding when he didn't find his talisman.  But, 2 weeks before a goddess's curse means, likely, the end of his life, they find each other!

I've rated this Aloof Cat because Shanley lived in America, with no one knowing she's a Talisman, Alaisdair went into hiding, and there is some violence.
